Just for clarification, I mean a new-to-me car. I don’t think there’s much chance of me (ever?) buying a brand new car!
This one happened a lot quicker than I expected! When I wrote the list I had this one down for year two, but here I am 18 days later and I already have a deposit on a lovely 1.7 Honda Civic diesel. That’s about as technical as I can get apart from the fact it is supposed to do 0-62 in 11.5 seconds and has does around 45mpg (apparently…)
It’s also a manual car, I haven’t driven a manual for ages. I had an automatic Renault Scenic for 3 years which was bliss to drive when I had two small children bawling in the back! I drove a manual for a week briefly while my car was off the road so I’m sure it will be fine but I am slightly nervous. I’d post a picture but that would mean faffing about with deleting the numberplate and so on, but that seems slightly silly since it’s hardly an identifying piece of information…
