Traffic was terrible, we had snow. I tried to take another way to work but didn’t navigate “devil’s triangle” very well and ended up trying to pull a fast one on the traffic gods but they got me in the end! Thankfully the other driver’s vehicle was fine and I have an auto body shop guy in the family. While I ran teh boy to his appointment after work, I learned that the casing for the light isn’t as expensive as I thought so I don’t have to just tape it together. It won’t look too bad when it’s all finished, just a bumped in panel. I also replaced the horrible windshield wiper blades.
Tomorrow is another long day. It seems that during the week I never have time to do anything. I feel my goals slipping away from me. I love the post that Shauna did about the bags, I think I could do that but I don’t feel like I have the time. Who isn’t overflowing with those darn plastic bags! I wonder if I could make them a little bigger and use them with re-usable bags? I bet I could… I’d need a couple of sets because I know that I would empty the bags and not return them to the car where I would know to use them again, instead they would be left in the house, forgotten.
I feel that most of the time, I’m living for the weekend. This weekend only has one thing scheduled on Saturday morning. Perhaps I can get started on the February room. I also made some more cabbage soup on Sunday so I have done one with two more meals to go. Anyone have any ideas? I fear that a majority of my week’s plans will occur over the weekend.
