The exclusively for China built Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano China, with a special paint coat, has been sold at an auction for 1,2 million euro, according to a spokesperson of Ferrari. The buyer is from Shanghai.
The Ferrari auction was held in Beijing at the Red Gate Gallery. Lu Hao, the first Chinese artist that worked with Ferrari, is responsible for the specific design. The sportscar has a porselein pattern.
The collected aution money will be donated to the Automotive Engineering-department of the Tsinghua University, at which students can travell to the Italian Politecnico di Milano University and visit the Ferrari main-office.
