Branching Out Over Morning

Whenever I go out shooting I always start out with a couple of “wasted” shots just to get my eyes adjusted to seeing the world around me through the camera. This practice helps me “see” shots before I even trigger the shutter. This was one of those shots. It was early in the morning. The sun was just coming up and it had rained the night before. Rain was still on the windshield of my car. Not expecting to save this shot – it turned out to be one of those lovely accidents. I really like the impressionistic feel of the image. Very little in focus because of the water on the windshield.
